I am the Parent of 2 students at Flamstead Village School. I am an illustrator and arts educator working with local schools and heritage sites as well as volunteering at the school Gardening Club. I care about our kids learning creativity, how to be practical and capable as well as the link between art practices and caring for the environment.

I’m Katharine and I’m the Year 1 / Maple Class Parent Rep. I have a daughter in Maple class and a one-year-old son. We live in Flamstead, close to the school, and love the school community of children, teachers and parents which has supported our family so well. I run my own business making and selling jewellery based at home, which means I’m usually around at pick up and drop off, often with my toddler in tow.

Hi, my name’s Michelle and I’m the year 2 Parent Rep. I have 2 children in the school; a boy in Year 2 and a girl in Year 1. We’ve lived in the village for around 8 years and absolutely love the support the village offers. I work part time in the NHS as a psychotherapist and I also have my own company which gives me the flexibility to work around school hours so I’ll often be at school drop offs and pick-ups.

Hi, my name is Rebecca and I’m the Year 3 Parent Rep. I am a local mum of two girls and a dog. I am member of Flamstead Pre-school and will do anything for others. I am happy to help in any way I can.

I am Kimberley and my daughter Lilly is in Year 4 at the school. We, (along with Lilly's little brother Jesse) have just moved here after living in Devon for 2 years. We are originally from Hertfordshire so have been very happy to return home. I would like to thank everyone for making us all feel so welcome already, and we are looking forward to getting to know everyone more. 

Hi, my name is Susannah and I’m the Year 5 Parent Rep. I have a son in Year Five and I have two other children who have now left Flamstead Village School. I live in the village with my family and my dogs and I enjoy the sense of community here. I also work in the school office but when I am in Parent Council meetings I have my ‘parent hat’ on.Please let me know if I can help you.
